Majestique's Special Ops - "Torren"
Co-owned with Deb Fischer

Torren is a very special boy who was rescued by Deb in late June 2011 and accepted into our kennel in early July after vet checks and other interventions. These pictures above are a tribute to the breed's ability to endure hardships without losing their beauty of body or spirit. Below is a picture of Torren on the day that he was rescued! He was infested with fleas, ticks and worms. His coat was matted and so badly burned by the sun that he looked like a red and white rather than the beautiful silver that he is. His ear had old sutures in it that had not been removed from an old injury, and you could see the look of dispair in his eyes. He weighed 35 pounds and was so weak that he could barely make it to the vehicle. The other photo (bottom right) is the same boy taken about four weeks and seven weeks after he came to live with us.
This is why we are so careful about placing our pups into new homes and why we try to stay connected to the new owners. That is why we ask so many questions and require regular updates from vet checks and pictures documenting their condition. That is why we do house visits whenever possible. It's all about protecting the dogs!
